By registering as a member and using our platform, you agree to abide by the following Membership Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with membership registration.
1.1 “Platform” refers to GetRid.my, including all related websites, mobile applications, and services provided.
1.2 “User” or “Member” refers to any individual or entity that registers an account on GetRid.my.
1.3 “Content” includes, but is not limited to, listings, advertisements, images, text, and messages uploaded by Members.
1.4 “Services” refer to the online classified advertisements, buying and selling facilitation, auctioning, gifting, forums, wanted ads, and other related services provided by the Company.
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use our Platform.
2.2 You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
2.3 Membership accounts are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered individual or entity.
3.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
3.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities.
4.1 Membership fees may vary from time to time unless otherwise stated. However, we may offer premium or VIP membership plans with additional benefits in the future.
4.2 Any fees paid for services and or joining as a member are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
4.3 We reserve the right to modify our fee structure, with reasonable notice provided to Members.
4.4 All existing members will NOT be affected should the price of Membership goes up due to cost of goods & services provided.
5.1 Members agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using our Platform.
5.2 Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
6.1 Members retain ownership of the content they upload but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content on our Platform or other social media sites created by getrid.my
6.2 You represent that you have the right to use and upload any content you post and that such content does not infringe on the rights of others.
6.3 We reserve the right to remove or moderate content that violates our policies or applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any Member’s account at our discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms & Conditions.
7.2 Users may terminate their membership at any time by deactivating their account through their profile settings. User can also send an email to support@getrid.my to terminate their account.
8.1 The Company is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our Platform.
8.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or legality of any content posted by Members.
8.3 We do not participate in transactions between buyers and sellers and shall not be liable for any disputes that arise.
9.1 By using our Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
9.2 We may share your information with third parties as necessary to provide services or comply with legal requirements.
10.1 We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
10.2 Members will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
10.3 Continued use of the Platform after modifications indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
11.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
11.2 Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
